Advanced Placement RN to BS in Nursing Program

The Advanced Placement Program is for those who are already REGISTERED NURSES and who are seeking the Bachelors of Science in Nursing (RN to BS).

The Department of Nursing at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, University College-Camden, offers the Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing at the Mays Landing campus of Atlantic Cape Community College. Access to a computer is a must as many Nursing courses will be offered in "hybrid" format (both on campus and online sessions). Prerequisite and other required non-nursing courses will be taken at Atlantic Cape.

When you are accepted to the program, you will be awarded 23 credits for having passed the NCLEX licensing examination. You can transfer in a maximum of 64 credits from an associates degree program, or 90 credits from a four-year college. Your last 30 credits earned toward a Rutgers degree must consist of courses offered through this Rutgers program.
